What's the difference between an Adplan splashback and printed splashbacks?

Adplan splashback and printed splashbacks, what's the difference?

We are often asked what the difference is between an Adplan splashback and some of our competitors printed splashbacks.

From a distance they look pretty similar but upon closer inspection the difference is very clear. Each of our splashbacks are created using stencils and one of the highest quality coloured glass resin available. This enables us to create almost any colour imaginable even sparkle patterned splashbacks with a finish which is durable enough to withstand Heat, Sunlight and will never de laminate from the glass.

Printed splashbacks use inks which are fine for short term applications and where the picture quality can be pixelated  but if you want a perfect crisp image with a 10 guarantee, an Adplan splashback is the one to go for.

The truth of the matter is that printed splashbacks have only been available for a few years and no one honestly knows how long they will last. While researching some of the best digital print machinery available the manufacturers will only give a 3 year UV stability (fading warranty) and that's without testing behind a heat source.

An Adplan Splashback is painted using a method that has been around for well over 10 years so we are confident that our glass will out live any digitally printed splashback and carry on looking amazing for the life of your kitchen.
